Born and raised in Auckland, Andrew, wife Rosina and their two daughters Gabriella and Billy moved to Christchurch in 1999 where Andrew now works as  a full-time artist.

Dallon August
Ngati Kahungunu artist Dallon August was raised in the Hawkes Bay suburb of Flaxmere and traces his family back to the Waimarama Marae (Whanganui a Tara te Maunga, Waingongoro te Awa, Ngati Kurukuru te Hapu, Takitimu te Waka). As a young man he exercised his creative skills as a professional tattoo artist and has painted numerous murals throughout the country.

David, though best known for his clever and often humorous sculpted works, has mastered many mediums throughout his career and is also very involved in the performing arts.


Blanche Fryer
Clay sculptor and acrylic painter
Blanche was born in Canterbury and after extensive travel in her early years settled back home and raised her two sons at the base of the beautiful foothills of Christchurch. After losing her home in the 2010 earthquakes, Blanche has now settled with her partner, sculptor David Lloyd, in the lovely rural township of Southbridge. Their home and studio is glorious old restored church.


Demarnia Lloyd-Harris
Working under the title ‘Miniaturious’, Christchurch based Demarnia Lloyd-Harris provides miniature portraiture featuring oil or acrylic on acid-free board, oil on cutlery, oil on stone, oil on found objects, small sculpted objects, and pin-back badges featuring her work.
Demarnia has been painting for over 20 years and has exhibited in a number of small galleries and café galleries in Dunedin, Wellington and Christchurch with group and solo shows.


Nicky Thompson
Nicky has been a full time artist since 1986. Her love for the landscapes, flora and fauna of New Zealand is apparent in her hauntingly evocative oil and acrylic paintings.


Sheila Brown
Sheila grew up on the east coast of America and works with acrylics. Her style of painting is described as a cross-over style; expressionism and abstract. Her work is represented in a number of galleries and she is a regular exhibitor at venues throughout New Zealand.
